The 29th Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP) took place on 1–2 November 2024 at the Hotel Renaissance, São Paulo, the first ISCP congress ever held in Brazil.

The congress was held jointly with the Brazilian Society of Clinical Medicine – São Paulo Region, with Dr Celso Amodeo as Congress President. Thirty-nine years after the first ISCP International Symposium, presided over by Prof. Henry N. Neufeld in Tel Aviv in 1985, the congress brought together national and international experts to discuss the latest advances in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy.
Over two days, the programme covered coronary disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, dyslipidaemia, hypertension, diabetes, cardio-oncology and drug interactions, as well as the newest pharmacological innovations for each of these conditions.
