Dr. Nadejda Diaconu is a clinical cardiologist and scientific researcher with over 20 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine.
Biography
Dr Nadejda Diaconu currently leads the Cardiac Emergencies and Rhythm Disorders Research Laboratory at the Institute of Cardiology in Chișinău, where she coordinates several national research projects on thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and cardiovascular biomarkers. Dr. Diaconu also serves as a consultant cardiologist at Repromed+ and CM Excellence and is the Founder and President of the Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis of the Republic of Moldova..
A Doctor of Medical Sciences and Associate Researcher in General Medicine, Dr. Diaconu has authored over 60 scientific publications, contributed to international and national guidelines, and presented at leading cardiology congresses, including the ESC.
She is a fellow of the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), and an active member of the ESC, HFA, and EHRA, among other professional societies.
Research Interests
Her research interests include thrombosis, arrhythmias, and cardioembolic disorders.
