The event took place in the Senate Hall of UMFST “George Emil Palade”, Târgu Mureș, Romania, and gathered participants from across the country and abroad to discuss the latest advances in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy.

The symposium featured sessions dedicated to topics such as:

-Management of chronic coronary artery disease and heart failure;

-New therapies in hypertension, dyslipidemias, and cardiovascular prevention;

-Interactive case studies and debates.

Among the invited speakers, Prof. Krzysztof J. Filipiak (Medical University of Warsaw), ISCP Board Member and Governor for Poland, presented new therapies in hypertension, offering an in-depth overview of pharmacological innovations and their impact on clinical outcomes.

The event promoted lively discussions and exchange of expertise between experienced specialists and young cardiologists, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Participants appreciated the highly interactive nature of the sessions, as well as the practical insights shared by the speakers.

Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Alina Scridon (Târgu Mureș) and Prof. Dr. Gheorghe Andrei Dan (Bucharest), the symposium once again emphasized the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous education in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy.

The event is being accredited by the Romanian College of Physicians and the Romanian College of Pharmacists.
