World Heart Day Event – International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy

As a World Heart Day event, we performed public lectures entitled “Let’s know more about blood vessels and lungs!”. Before lectures, a nurse and technician measured lung function in a convenient way at a health check corner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For smoking persons, a specialized medical doctor advised how to quit smoking, and provided information on pharmacotherapy and smoking cessation clinic.Lectures by medical Professors include pathophysiology of pulmonary hypertension, cardiovascular health damage by active and passive smoking and explanation of nicotine dependence. The following lectures were questions by public citizens and answers by medical Professors. More than 150 members of the general public got together and enjoyed our program.
