Welcome to the latest edition of our regular newsletter! As the President of the society, it is my pleasure to extend a warm greeting to all of you.
In this newsletter, our aim is to provide you with the most up-to-date and relevant information in the field of cardiovascular pharmacotherapy. Our team has curated a selection of new information, and updates that we believe will be of great interest and benefit to our esteemed members, especially young members. Together, we can continue to advance the practice of cardiovascular medicine and improve patient outcomes.

ISCP Empowering Practice Educational Series – A NEW SEASON!
Going forward, we hope to unveil the ISCP Empowering Practice Educational Series (ISCP-EPES) comprising a thematic triad of: The A to Z of CV Pharmacotherapy Webinar; CataLysing ReAl-world CV Pharmacotherapy (CLAP); CV Pharmacotherapy Pearls. Each theme stretches two months, with the webinar as the forerunner and closely followed by the publication of a CLAP and a Pearl.
Take Part in ISCP Educational Programmes 2023-2025
As an ISCP Member, one of the benefits is to have the opportunity to be considered as a Speaker on our CME live webinars, to take part in the panel as an Expert or to publish Expert Opinions about novel information that is relevant to the Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy community. ESC 2023 @AMSTERDAM
The most expected event of the year in the cardiology world is taking place in Amsterdam this August and we are thrilled to confirm that we will be participating with a booth (A670) within the International Associations Row in the exhibition area. If you are planning on attending please come and say hi, would love to meet you!
ISCP will also participate in the scientific sessions. We will present a joint session ESC-ISCP titled “RNA-based therapy in cardiovascular disease: ready for prime time!” so look up for this session on the meeting’s programme and make sure not to miss it!
ISCP Annual General Assembly 2023
The ISCP yearly General Assembly will take place in Amsterdam on Saturday 26th August at 13.00 CEST. If you would like to attend, please let us know in advance as it will help us organise the logistics. For those not able to attend in person, the session will be broadcasted live over Zoom. If you wish to attend online, please send an email to lourdesmarenco@icpcardio.org so you are added to the list and receive the login details to the meeting.
ISCP 2023: 28th International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy Annual Scientific Meeting
The ISCP Annual Scientific Meeting is being held in conjunction with KSCP and KSCVP meeting at the Conrad Seoul, South Korea on 23rd-25th November 2023. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format with both in-person and online sessions. All congress abstracts must be submitted online via the “Online Submission System.” The abstract submission deadline is 5th September 2023. European Cardiology Review (ECR) – Official ISCP Journal
The European Cardiology Review (ECR) is a PubMed-indexed, peer-reviewed, gold open-access journal comprising balanced review articles, systematic reviews, expert opinions, and editorials. The journal is led by Editor-in-Chief Juan Carlos Kaski, along with Deputy Editor Pablo Avanzas, and is supported by an editorial board of world-renowned physicians.
The ECR website also provides access to a large range of additional relevant resources such as special focus collections, webinars, on-demand videos, and podcasts.
ECR volume 18 is available here with all articles free to read and download via the journal website.
