Joshua Bennetts, PhD.

Joshua Bennetts is an early career academic pharmacist who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2018, completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class
Honours. Joshua completed his internship in community pharmacy and continued gaining experience working as a pharmacist in both community and hospital settings. Joshua is also a credentialed pharmacist who provides domiciliary medication management review services for his community.

In 2021, Joshua was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Training scholarship from the University of Newcastle and is currently completing his PhD as part of the
Newcastle Centre of Excellence in Cardio-Oncology. His research focusses on pharmacist-led models of care to support people with cardiovascular disease and
cancer as they transition between hospital and home.

Joshua has published numerous papers and abstracts and has presented his research at both national and international conferences. Joshua also currently
serves as an active member of the International Cardio-Oncology Pharmacist Working Group.
