Part of ISCP’s global education program, this webinar spotlights major advances in the pharmacological management of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)—a condition once reliant on invasive treatments. We’ll explore the shift toward targeted therapies that address underlying pathophysiology, focusing on both established treatments (beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, disopyramide) and novel agents like myosin inhibitors (mavacamten, aficamten).
Clinical experts will review efficacy and safety data from pivotal trials, patient selection strategies, monitoring considerations, and real-world implementation. Emphasis will be placed on interdisciplinary collaboration, with a particular focus on the expanding role of pharmacists in optimizing pharmacotherapy.
