MISSION OF THE GOVERNORS OF THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF CARDIOVASCULAR PHARMACOTHERAPY (ISCP)
The mission of the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP) is to promote and facilitate strategies to improve cardiovascular health through cooperation among cardiac physicians and surgeons, pharmacologists, pharmacists, scientists, and medical practitioners worldwide.

The mission of the governors of the ISCP is to promote the goals of the Society through regional representation and activities that contribute to worldwide growth and development.

It is expected that ISCP governors will:

  • - Be active (full fee paying) members of ISCP
  • - Have a thorough understanding of the mission of ISCP and provide support to this mission
  • - Promote the full range of educational and research activities of ISCP
  • - Provide leadership and an advocacy role amongst members of their National societies
  • - Propose and organize national, international and regional meetings on CV pharmacotherapy that aim to consolidate and disseminate the latest information and prioritize areas requiring future research and development
  • - Promote education and training opportunities in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy consistent with ISCP national and international programs
  • - Stimulate the participation of members of their National societies in ISCP’s educational activities and the development and promotion of ‘best practice’ pharmacotherapy guidelines
  • - Contribute material to the ISCP website
  • - Participate in the ISCP annual meetings
  • - Attend at least one of the three scheduled meetings of the Council of Governors every year
  • - Take administrative roles within ISCP as requested

 

ISCP endorsement of meetings

All individuals, professional societies, federations and associations interested in having programmes considered for endorsement by the ISCP are required to provide us with detailed information regarding the event.
